Hi. Like I said, the weather here (Pennsylvania) was unusually warm yesterday (83!) and today it is like 45!!! All of a sudden last night it started to get cold again. I LOVE Kohl's too. I agree, their clothes are inexpensive and good quality. What religion are you if you don't mind me asking? I can bench press 75 lbs. I know that's not a lot but I'm a girl with not a lot of upper body strenght and 75 lbs. is a lot more than I used to be able to do when I first started. It would help if I had a partner to spot me but I usually don't. I know that I weigh more because of the extra muscle but I usually go by how my clothes are fitting rather than teh number on the scale, but I have to weigh myself every morning just to keep a check on it because I tend to gain very easily. wow... congrats on being a big sister! You know, it won't be that bad... you'll be at school most of the time so when you can come home and play with the baby and spoil him/her. I f'ing hate the sims - everyone gets them to do cool stuff, but mine just stand around and complain - then when I fix the problem, they just complain more. I hate those bastards. I haven't tried to hurt them like on Grand Theft Auto 3 - maybe I have a new activity - torturing my sims. [Better Inward]

Don't worry about your grades so much, you're really good at Spanish and you'll do fine in Spain. I'm not convinced anyone actually uses all that plusperfecto subjunctive stuff anyway, I think they just teach it to us to confuse us... =) [KatieLaine]

I know I'm going to sound ungrateful but I'd be willing to give you a huge portion of my sunny Southern California in exchange for some snow. Granted, I have this romantic little fantasy about snow and it's probably actually hell when you have to live in it, but this constantly sunny weather makes having seasons seem like a crock. Alright now this is just my take on it here Thickee, but if you really don't care whether or not this person drops out of your life and you are generally bothered and upset about how this person is treating you it seems like you might benefit from cutting them off yourself, that is, why wait for him/her to go away when you're the one who can take the step for yourself. I'm not sure what this person gives you. There obviously has to be something there otherwise you really would get out of this "friendship". Just ask yourself if what you're getting is greater than the negative feelings this person helps bring about. If it is then you have a solid foundation to work with and the friendship might benefit from a heart to heart. If what you're getting doesn't cut it, then you might consider cutting off your ties to this person. In a nutshell, what are you getting from this person that you couldn't get from someone else? Hun, I hope that some time down the line you can actually tell these people directly what it is you feel for them. Some of the things you said are very sweet and I'm sure they wouldn't take it in the wrong way and even the not-so-sweet thoughts you have could improve your relationship with these people. Of course I'm one to talk with me not being able to tell Nathan what I really feel for him, but it's just always easier to dish out medicine when you're not the one who has to swallow it down, you know what I mean? Oooh I am having so many issues with Audio Galaxy right now hun. It's unbelievable. Everytime I try to sign in the damn thing tells me that my satellite is not running and that they have high server overload or some crap. I haven't been able to get on for about, I kid you not, a month. I am not a happy camper. It's wonderful when it's working, but when it's not I swear you go through withdrawals. Totally know what you mean!!!! I got an "F" for the first time in my entire life two semesters ago. I was on a full on crying spree. In my head I thought my ass should just march right into admissions and drop-out. It was so obvious to me I was a total loser. Well guess what? I'm not and neither are you. This type of thing happens, granted it doesn't usually happen to US, it happens to the slackers, the ones who DON'T study, but this has to help you in some way. It helped me realize that I, too, make mistakes. Cry about it if you have to, get mad at yourself for being an incompetent moron, and condemn yourself to a long life in hell.......and then get over it. This early in the semester you can still make it up. Even with my demoralizing "F" I still got a "C" in the class, not what I wanted, but I got on my feet again, you will too. Cheer up. Hello again: Thanks so much for the reply. I know that I'm not the only one out there with the same circumstances with my father but sometimes I feel so alone. I'm sure we all go through that sometimes. And you know, I think we need to feel sorry for ourselves sometimes otherwise we go around looking for other people to do it for us. I know what you mean, it's a scary thing to put yourself out there like that, but what's the worst that could happen..."C" will say "oh, you're in my class?" With a real puzzled look and walk away. You'll feel like an ass and start guzzling beer, which you don't like, to try to wash down the stupid feeling, but then you'll be buzzed and "C" will be the last thing on your mind.
